Fixed problems and changed functionality

The SIMCA-P 10.0.2 upgrade patch is cumulative and includes all the fixes from the SIMCA-P 10.0.1 patch (see Q290) as well as the following additional items:

12) PLS-DA models can be used as a base hierarchical models

13) In the contribution dialogue for DModX and DModY with weight None, component can now be selected

14) The automation interface for Delphi works

15) Color by identifiers is faster for large projects

16) Added new functionality for changing the location and margins in plots

17) Added functionality for saving the current settings of a project as global, i.e., will apply to all new projects (View | Save as Global Options)

18) Miscellaneous fixes and improvements

This update has been superseded by the SIMCA-P 10.5 Upgrade. See Q377 for more information.

System Requirements

The patch upgrades the SIMCA-P 10.0 or 10.0.1 already installed on your computer. It only works for the full version of SIMCA-P and not for the demo.

Installing the upgrade

Unzip the downloaded zip file (enter the password when prompted). Run the extracted MSP-file to start the setup program. Click through the wizard and follow the instructions on the screen. Winzip can be downloaded from WinZip

Note: For other operating systems than Windows XP, find specific information to ensure successful patching in Q300 for Windows NT4 and Q301 for Windows 2000.
