Tracking the project status for projects using $Time (Q631)
The information in this article applies to:
- SIMCA-Batch On-Line 3.2
- SIMCA-Batch On-Line 3.3
- SIMCA-Batch On-Line 3.4
Summary
To know if the projects within SIMCA-Batch On-Line are running or not, you can set up SIMCA-Batch On-Line to export the $Time value (observation level "maturity") to the external database. This $Time value should be incremented by one each time the batch condition criteria is met and new data has arrived to the SIMCA-Batch On-Line server. The $Time value exists per phase within the SIMCA-P+ project.
More Information
How to set it up
1. Open the Project and Server Administration dialog.
2. Select the project you want to set up.
3. Click Configure.
4. Under Project Exports, choose Configure.
5. At the bottom of the list, assign a database tag to the variable "Maturity".
Effect of change
If the communication is ok, the project is running, the model is created with $Time and the phase is active, the Maturity value will increase by one for each new observation.
If communication from database to SIMCA-Batch On-Line Server is broken, the Maturity value will not be written to the database.
If communication from SIMCA-Batch On-Line Server to database is broken, the Maturity value will not be written to the database.
If a project is not executing, the Maturity values for the phases in the project will not be written to the database.
If the phase identifier from the project setup is not active, the Maturity value for that phase will not be written to the database.
