Model locked for last response (Q661)

The information in this article applies to:

  • MODDE 9.0

Symptoms

After deleting responses and adding a response with the same name as a deleted response, the model of that last response cannot be changed. This is NOT the case when you have the same model for all responses.

Workaround

Workaround 1: If possible, do not add responses with exactly the same name as a deleted response. That is, delete the response and add it with a different name.

Workaround 2: If you have to add a response with exactly the same name as a deleted response, then:

1) Delete the last response.

2) Add a number of responses with a new name, for instance 'Kalle', 'Kalle1' etc. Use copy/paste. Make sure that the number of new responses exceeds the number of times you have deleted a response.

3) Remove the Kalle-responses.

4) Add the response anew.

Status

This will be fixed in the next release.

More Information

The model is locked after deleting two responses where one of them is the last, and then adding a new response with the same name as the last.
