Using ArtBuilder for creating new image collections for SIMCA-P (Q544)

Summary

Fitting models in SIMCA-P can take time for large models. During this time the software by default shows pictures of various artists in the progress window.

The new free Umetrics software ArtBuilder can be used to create a collection of your own images to be displayed in SIMCA-P during the fitting of models. ArtBuilder is provided “as is” and comes with no guaranties about functionality or with any support except the help file.

Requirements

SIMCA-P or SIMCA-P+ 11.5 must be installed on the computer you want to run ArtBuilder on.

Installation

Download the installation file using the link below and run it to start the setup program. Click through the wizard.

Usage

Start ArtBuilder from the start menu under the folder Umetrics.

Use ArtBuilder to create and compile your own collection of images. Then configure SIMCA-P to use your own collection. Use the Help button inside ArtBuilder for details how to do this.
