Umetrics announces new release of the design of experiments software MODDE

Umetrics is happy to announce the release of version 8.01 of our design software MODDE. MODDE 8.01 has a number of new features, mainly of the character “convenience improvements”.

Waters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) and Umetrics AB, a wholly owned subsidiary of MKS Instruments, Inc. (NASDAQ:MKSI), today announced an agreement to integrate Umetrics® SIMCA-P™ suite of multivariate statistical tools into Waters® MassLynx™ MarkerLynx™ Application Manager software. The agreement will focus on developing a fully integrated solution for profiling small molecules in complex matrices (biological, food or chemical). 

Waters to Partner With Umetrics AB

Waters Corporation announced today it has entered into a co-marketing agreement with Umetrics AB (Umea, Sweden). Waters will begin offering scientists a direct link to Umetrics SIMCA-P multivariate statistical analysis software as a fully functioning option compatible with Waters MarkerLynx 4.1 software.

Baxter Healthcare Corporation, Umetrics AB, and MKS Instruments Inc. Develop a Parametric Release Injection Molding Data Monitoring Solution
DEERFIELD, Ill., KINNELON, N.J., and WILMINGTON, Mass., June 13, 2005.
Baxter Healthcare Corporation and Umetrics AB have co-developed a software platform for real-time parametric release of product from injection molding processes. The software solution has been tested during a pilot project at Baxter's Mountain Home, Arkansas facility and has shown a large benefit for detecting and diagnosing process upsets. A patent application has been filed and, beginning immediately, the companies will jointly market the software solution.

Umetrics’ share holders meeting & result for 2004

Umetrics held its share-holders meeting in Umeå in April 2 (the 18th anniversary of the company). A successful year 2004 was reported, with increased revenues and results. The Umetrics Group announced revenue of 52 MSEK and a profit on 5.3 MSEK, an increase of 10% of sales and a profit increase of 50% from 2003.

Umetrics held its share-holders meeting (bolagsstämma) in Umeå on April 2 (the 17th anniversary of the company) A successful year 2003 was reported, with increased revenues and results. The Umetrics Group showed a revenue increase of 10% and a profit increase of 350% over 2002.

The newly elected board has a new chairman, namely Per-Arne Sandström (deputy CEO of Ericsson). The complete board list as follows: Per-Arne Sandström (chairman), Karl Swartling, Anders Grånäs, Per Lidström, Svante Wold and Peder Berntsson.

As of May 1, Umetrics has also a new CEO (VD), namely Lars Österberg, previously BANQIT.
