Out-of-spec parts can be diverted automatically, based on alarm thresholds, eliminating the downstream costs associated with the incorrect acceptance of poor quality parts.
For slowly shifting or drifting processes, adaptive techniques are included to allow the model to adjust to the process change. As a result false alarms are minimized. Adaptation can be reset to the model baseline after machine maintenance or a step change in machine conditions.
The results are displayed in a web browser and sent on to local servers for storage.
